Why would I want my audio or video files to be stripped?

There are a few reasons to consider file stripping:

1. Some of the online music distribution services (aggregators) now want files submitted to them stripped of some or all META data.
2. Mediabase (the service used to track airplay) also wants files submitted to them to be stripped of any META data.
3. Resting assured that you have a completely clean copy of your files with no junk data or advertising in it makes sense.
